Bollox. I'm 12th (and last) reserve for V718 on 27 Aug. PB of 21:01 and I would have easily got a ride in the 'slower than 21:00 LTS' event, alas had to enter the faster than 21:00 and only last reserve. The kicker is that if it looks a good fast day chances are most will rock up and I may travel 4 hours and not ride - if it looks filth (like all my other V718's), I'll get to ride but a shit time which defeats the object. I need a different sport, maybe that one where you fanny about with a pink ball and a bit of willow tree and run off indoors whenever it starts spitting.... |

A 50-54 year old 'Todd' (or Tod) is a complete mindfuck. Bet there's 100's in the younger AG's. Hard to determine proper targets in a race like this, but I'll certainly be measuring myself against all these bastard Todd's. |

No Todds - I've checked. There was a Tom from Clapham Chasers. Tarring him with the brush of pseudo-Todd would seem unduly harsh.
