The JW Ultra is returning for it's second running after 2007's debut.

30 miles along the Stratford Canal towpath from Stratford to Bournville on Saturday 27th September. Also a 3*10 mile relay.

Ideal for a first ultra.

I did this last year, as did several other people from this site and it was great fun :-)

I noticed it on PH's race list ( while stalking) and if training and spring mara go ok, then yeah. Interested.

I may give it a go though I'll not be trying to hang on to Matt Giles. I'd rather do his races instead.

Not many people can keep up with Matt!

Do you mean the Clent Hills mini fell races he organised last year?

Yes TMW I did the second and third of those but missed first due to being committed to a fell race in Derbys already.
