Right. Reminder of the situation. I checked with the EIS. They told me that there was nothing using the track in the morning, but that I'd need to phone to double-check this week. Suggestion was that 10:30 ish would be fine. Some kind of UKA thing going on after 12. I can't make it, though. If someone else wants to phone and check it's still free and declare a starting time, that would be great. |

I'll still be at the Saunders MM this weekend, so won't be there. I am told, that a lot of people asked at Leeds 3k Track races on Sat about another Golden Mile race day. Mark has said he will be organising one at Beckett's Park in September again. We should have the UKA official with electronic timers coming down, so results will be eligible for Po10 if sways you. Will post details when they are released. |

I suspect it'll start at 3pm, like the last one and the 3k races last sat, just because that's when the track and timers/officials will be available.

I know it's along way to travel but Northampton parkrun have a free timed mile on the first Saturday of each month, there are a few of us that are planning on being there on 3rd August and having cake/picnic after, anyone is welcome to join in

So is it just me, Mud Meanderer and YP? Much as I like them I'm not travelling for a mile with just the three of us (actually we could just hold our own at Rounday or something...), seems little point three Leeds Fetchies travelling to Sheffield... Or have I miscounted somewhere? |
