Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

afternoon all, apologies Dave I didn't make it to HPTT but well done on the PB :-)

woke this morning feeling a bit run down not sure why but I headed back to bed and ended up sleeping the rest of the morning which has put me way behind on the weekend chores so I'll not be heading over to York until tomorrow for the mile I reckon

Never mind LA, better to be rested and fit than run down.

Chocolate cake out of the oven...

OK, well truth be told, it's been a bit hectic here, working 12 hr days, club disciplinary on monday :( (I'm a witness not the one being hauled!) my Grandma fell last week and ended up in hospital and died this morning :(

So I thought I'd go to my little local farm shop where Paula bakes cakes and just buy one of her gorgeous cakes instead. It will be much better than mine. Then I reversed the car into the front of the shop and drove over their potted large box tree and made a right mess :( Is it about time we had an embarassed smilie?

All in all not a great week. However, chocolate cake and a sweaty mile tomorrow might cheer me up even if I'm going to be well last.

It is, and it isn't; she was 91, was only awake for the odd minute per 24 hours and had had Alzheimers for years. So it was her time, and it was peaceful.

It's not great news about my driving either is it?!? Or the fact that I was going to pass a farm shop cake off as my own!

Tut tut. Fake cakes. I'll have to be seizing that, for evidential purposes of course:)

Afternoon all.
Tiggia - sorry to hear you are having such a crummy couple of days. Buy a lottery ticket tonight - you must be due some good luck soon!
Haven't started on my cake yet. we had a rubbish start to weekend. My 4 year old came down with a pukey bug last night - all night long. SHe's sleeping it off now and I'm in the process of washing every single towel of sheet in the house. nice. Thank goodness for bicarb of soda.
May just be me & my big girl tomorrow at the mile, if Dinky is still feeling rough. No more puke today but she's not eating either :(
another nice relaxing weekend in this house!

Afternoon all
Not a good week tiggia. Sorry to hear about your gran. x

Change of cake plan. No brownie mix in morrisons (Eh??). So mars bar krispie cakes instead. If I am not too hungover in the morning to make them. Off out in a bit to a retirement party with some postmen.

And the man in front of me in the queue at morrisons was absolutely fit. Sorry just had to tell someone!
