hlsweb, it depends on what going rate in York is. normally between 45 to 50 quid for a holiday inn, but not sure whether York is more expensive

My cousin used to own this place before it went on Hotel Inspector :-) They were still using the same crockery he used ten years earlier blossomsyork.co.uk

haddi - I get the feeling if I booked you into the stadium you would get lost. The Blossoms is only about 5 mins from centre but has titchy car park, will see what I can do.

York is about double that for a Holiday Inn and the one close to the Stadium is full. Mind you found this one which is in the centre for you:
