Just found out that York is getting its very own Parkrun - starting on January 14th, at the Knavesmire, rumoured to be at 9am. Not much on the Parkrun website yet. Erm, sorry if anybody else has posted about this. I searched for it, but I haven't been on this site for long and don't know much about the navigation thereof, so could have missed it. If so, somebody technical please hit the delete button. Thanks!

I did the trial run on NYE. It was great. I'm really looking forward to it starting properly next week apart from the fact that I twisted my ankle last night and can't walk at the moment never mind run.

they could have found a better course than running 1 1/2 times round race course it will be rutted and heavy going
