I’m used to being in a live class - there’s usually 20-odd of us. Same teacher, four regular classmates and I felt horribly exposed. Still, it was better than a pre-recorded YouTube job, I think.

When I was doing my company's Thrive week yoga, I had 10 people in each session and only one of them had their camera on. Fortunately I was doing a beginner class with plenty of instructions on how to get into the right shape, seeing I couldn't see what they were doing.

I went to the physio yesterday with a very hurty neck. She said the muscles in my neck, shoulder and all the way down my back to my wonky pelvis (can't remember if wonky was the actual word she used) were really tight. She recommended I do some yoga to keep myself loose, but not until she had finished with me!

I'm sure you'll feel the benefit Nick, just in time for when gym's re-open and classes start up again. Don't feel embarrassed and enjoy.

I thought Yoga was all about being embarrassed by those who can get their knees behind their ears.

Classes can't start until step 3 of the roadmap in England which is not before 17th May. Gyms are only opening for individual or household group use.

I have completely given up on teaching yoga... With all the continuously changing restrictions, I realised that after a year of not being allowed, it isn't going to be any better this year... :(

I'm only teaching colleagues via Zoom. I probably won't be going into the office this year.

My teaching style and students dont translate well to zoom, sadly. Apart from me having to buy a new computer.

I have just been informed of something called Park yoga by a friend waiting for parkrun to restart. I hadn't heard of this but it seems a nice safe way for me to try yoga. I see I have one local to me so will give it a try Sunday week.
