Xmas Races in Northern Ireland

I'm spending Xmas in Country Derry and would love to do a race / fun run to blow away the cobwebs. Any suggestions? Won't be there on either Saturday so Portrush Parkrun is not an option sadly. |

There are 3 races that I know of - Greencastle 5 Mile Road Race (boxing day), Castlewellan Christmas Cracker 10 Miles (on the 29th) and Race Over The Glens (on new year's day). All three are allegedly quite challenging - I've never done any of them but that's what I've heard! Details available here: athleticsni.org |
