Allegedly the second of two major blunders by Fab - Carlsen squandering much of the first being over cautious. I think Fab, in this format is a bit Rio Ferdinand (got a blunder in him every game), Carlsen's caution now ideally suited to wait for the error from an increasingly desperate opponent. Disappointed that the Guarrdian couldn;t go move by move.... |

They're all preplanned moves/responses though aren't they? First bloke to go off grid and they then have to ponder....

Looking like Fab has a slight advantage currently.

And he's blown it. Might do well to stave off a 2nd defeat now as his time difference looks bad.

Nope he's gone. 2-0 down. All but dead with Carlsen two games as white to go.

It's all over really. It's like say Brighton Man City, and Man City have gone 2-0 up at half time, which makes it as hard as possible for the underdog to come back from. I suspect Fab's best chance was keeping it tight and then finding an opening in one game. He's been far too loose. Love the way the c6 pawn went from being Fab's winning advantage to being a losing liability. There is no way back really. |

Not even close, what an anti climax.
