At the time Magnus won in 2013 and then jumped into the hotel swimming pool afterwards felt great. A shaking up of the old conventions twitter.com But at the same time I'm looking forward to the era of Ding. He's very much a chess champion in the old style: quiet, modest, reserved. The bromance with Rapport was a bonus. A geek has won. I guess we won't see him modelling for G-Star anytime soon ![]() They're all going to be in action in the Grand Chess Tour next week, whoa. (Not Carlsen though) |
