Many thanks to the organisers, everything went like clockwork. Efficient, friendly marshalling, great course and even the weather decided to save the worst until after the race.

Found the last three miles really difficult especially the motorway bridges. Five minutes slower than I should have been. Reality check ahead of VLM.

Just looked at the course elevation profile, which makes me feel slightly better about my slowdown in miles 11 and 12. Being into the wind as well as uphill didn't help!

I had a great time today, meeting up with so many familiar faces and some new ones. Ran a good race, found the last two miles quite hard especially as others said uphill into the wind but I still managed a big PB. Then a lovely Fetchie meet up at the pub to follow :)
