Why does the idea of 53 miles of Norfolk wind in February in the dark appeal to me ?

Hmmm... I'm thinking of pencilling the Winter Poppyline in too, having had my eye on it for the last couple of years. Rosehip - if I do there will probably be a spare bedroom in Sea Palling available.

Might go back again. Nothing like 50 miles of flat and boring Norfolk in winter conditions

I may well have a look at this. I loved the Not for Nothing 50 when I did it in 2011, it was a great event.

EdJ - you are supposed to tell me not to be so silly - not encourage the daftness I all seriousness though, this looks like as good a first 50 miler as any - I'd rather be cold and wet than too hot any day and Norfolk's lumps aren't real hills are they ? |

When I did the NFN50 in Feb it proper lashed it down all day and it was ace. Getting lost in a field at 10pm in the pitch black is great stuff.
