OK so I'm willing to admit I'm not normal but I score my cycle commute...
Plus points for overtaking, minus points for being overtaken that kind of thing.
Is it only me... What games do you play?

I love over taking people and since I got a road bike, it's easy to not only pass but DESTROY most commuters.

That is until I come up against another road bike / club cyclist etc. Then I get left. Also the strava leader boards have me waaaay down the list for my segments.

I like to play track stand at the lights

I use to chase people or get annoyed if I was over took on the bike but now I just ride at my pace and don't worry anymore. Though if i'm out on the mtb with mates then silly games take place.

More myself... I award random points, when the lights are in my favour, when I beat the bus home... Fewer points deducted when Lycra clad road bikes overtake than when normal commuters do...

Ok, this rings a bell with me.

When I used to walk to school (back in the day) my mind's eye saw my environment like a computer game. I had a laser coming out of my side that would 'explode' cars if they were stationary. The trick was to get to the next lamp-post before getting 'run over' by moving cars.

This game was regularly interrupted in order to talk to the local cats.

I freely admit that not only am I not normal, I'm also a little bit odd...

It's not only me! Hurrah!

Scored lots today... but minus score for failing to come up with a witty put down for rude students...

Isn't there an official scoring system / chart for this sort of commuter racing thing?

I'd never win with official scoring systems...
decided on a new point today plus ten for witty reply to arsy student type standing talking all over the cycle lane.

Got something to say?
