Glittens :-) I've recently picked up some Craft ones which are the same as the Nike ones, but warmer. Have to say they're pretty good and kept my hands warm enough in sub-zero temperatures last Saturday morning.

This is the set I got, also includes a hat - 30% off at the moment mightcontainnuts.com

They also have some Craft arm warmers on sale!

I bought the Craft 3 finger cycling mitts ...excellent for running ....They have removable ,inner fleece gloves for which you can substitute your own running gloves and then remove the mitts if your hands heat up ...

Might have found what I'm looking for :-)

Don't think the material is truly windproof, but might give these a whirl

I've just bought some gloves with a Tog rating! (2.5). Thermal gloves, not for running as I'll get too hot, but perhaps for standing around before/after races, as my hands got cold before the XC on Sunday and didn't thaw out until half way round.

Tempted by the SealSkinz though...

Buffalo mittens rock. It has to be very cold to even think about wearing them. I carry them in winter on long mountain days etc as a 'get out of jail card'

Just to let you all know that I went for the Black Diamond ones ( link above ) and they are brill - tested today in 3C with a bracing wind !

Not too big and bulky, dense windproof wicking fleece material, easy to make a fist inside if tips of fingers or thumb start to get cold.

I have waterproof shell overmitts ( from my hillwalking days ) if it gets really Baltic.

Got something to say?
