thesteadygroove and I did 60 miles (both solo-ing) (what did folks measure the lap as? we recconed on 6 miles a lap - or was it a measured 10k route?) in 12 hours and 33 minutes... definitely NOT flat |

I did just over 34 miles - measured the route as between 5.66 and 5.71 miles! So definately not 10k phal - 60 miles was fantastic, well done on your prize too! |

thank you the garmin would NEVER have picked up on all of the twists and turns though.... which is why we recconed on 6 miles a lap. |

Ogee, the start of that was walking the course Saturday in my trail shoes (which have never been a problem before) but with stupidly thin socks (lesson learnt). Didn't actually affect me too much on Sunday as I tapped it up really well. Just looks nasty now though.

6 miles may well be a good estimate - I'm sure that from the 9k mark to the finish was about 500m! I will be telling everyone that I did 6 x 6 miles, I will also be telling that we came 2nd, but not out of 2!! |

Mr. K.
Loved it yesterday - great event, really good marshals, wonderful company - top notch RD but I`m sure there are easier places to run to 12hrs.....and 9 mins 47 secs. 9 Laps - 51.43 Miles. Doing a really good John Wayne impression today esp when I got out of the car after driving back. |

well done everyone. another good event done a big thank you to the organisers and marshallS the goodie bag is brilliant too! my hats off to you mr k. very well done! i had a good 5 laps untill about half way round the 5th, then my left knee hurt like hell. i had a break/dinner and had another go but it was worse so i called it a day and packed it in. i felt fine otherwise and could have done another couple of laps but then i probaby wouldn't of been able to walk today. see you all at the thunder run! |
