Been suffering with man flu since New Years Eve, stupidly ran 5 mile race on Sunday which was very difficult, slow and certainly seems to have slowed my recovery.
Not done a step since. Hoping to get out again this Sunday for a long slow run (fingers crossed).
Hate being sick.

Take it easy David and get well soon. This lurgy seems to last forever!

If you are bunged up put some Vicks Vapour Rub (other brands are available, lol) on the soles of your feet at bedtime. It really helps - strange but true :-)

I also find that carrying a Vicks inhaler stick (I sound like an advert for Vicks!) on my runs if I am a bit snotty helps as you can have a good sniff if you start to find breathing through your nose tough.

Hope you all feel better soon!

My work colleague is constantly coughing her guts up. I'm doing my best to stay clear of her as I'm doing the Thames Meander Marathon on Saturday.
