Did a walk without Garmin so no squares captured and then forgot to start my watch for when I got passed the end point. Bit I feel like I’m now back on track.

In a good close game this week, but I'm close to conceding... I don't think I'll keep up over the weekend!

(Btw, it is odd to see the related threads on the right and see how, well, related they are!)

I think I am going to concede and enjoy a weekend of off grid running as I am 20 squares down and having plotted a route the best I can do is close the gap to 2 after todays run. Well done RunSlow SwimSlow.

My current opponent runs almost the same miles as me but also walks the same amount of miles which makes it difficult for someone who only runs. In fact I lost last week in a similar fashion and it shows that while high miles can get you to the top 10, to really be competitive you need to also walk and/or cycle.

Sushi.
Bazoaxe as a newcomer to this I’d probably agree.

I’ve been using my walks to pick up the squares where it’s difficult to run and/or involves lots of in and out of roads (which would drive me nuts running.)

I have also discovered that it’s very easy to double the length of a route by adding in little up and down side streets to reach stray squares

I’ve opted out of next week as I’ll be doing 4 12.5hr shifts which makes it near impossible to do anything by the time travel is added in.

I rarely walk for wsw as such but I walk to work and often for minor errands. Without wsw, I woúld drive more so the climate, my gas bill and the local air quality all win too.

Oranj is like the Terminator. It is relentless. Have enjoyed a rare game, but feel defeat looms.

Glad to see you made it in one piece, Wallman but I'm still hoping you draw someone else ;)
