Lyns Aug 2008 11:27am, 17 Aug 2008 337 posts	Quote Pin Lyns am shattered this morning! was a great race, couldn't keep up with you lot on here so gave up trying... but it was a good show from our three - mara did amazingly well although it was a pity to hear her say that if they'd chased constantina she wouldn't have been able to go with the pace... liz was so tough to keep going like that - did you see the colour of her shoulders when she finished, so much bruising! and paula at least wont be left wondering 'what if?' she went for it and finished with the pack despite everything... maybe she always was destined to have her only olympic medal chance in London... it certainly will add to the crowds and excitement if she gets to the start line at london healthy.

runs4wine Aug 2008 11:41am, 17 Aug 2008 63 posts	Quote Pin runs4wine only one positive comment for paula on bbc website bbc.co.uk I think that if it paula was fighting for 6th and mara was where paula was we wouldnt have seen any coverage of her so I do feel a bit sorry for mara not getting as much of the coverage but the comments on the above website really do make me angry!
