Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Do I go to bed awfy early, get up to watch the marathon, go back to bed then get up a few hours later for my race? Or Sky+ it, get up for my race reeeeeally early and watch it before leaving?

Couldn't watch it after getting back cos I'll no doubt have heard who's won by then :-)

agree with Jacobi - if more people knew just what problems - internally wise -Paula had in Athens - and before actually - they would have had more sympathy for her - she admits in her book that wasn't well at all - - but she is our greatest distance runner and even if she isn't " race fit" tomorrow - she is going to give it her all and I for one will be shouting at the TV - along with a " few" more I suspect....... Go Paula Go - will not be forgetting Liz and Mara tho!

I take back my comments about her looking ill, seeing her on TV this morning she looks no thinner than in New York. Maybe it was just a bad interview the other day

I have a 5 mile race tomorrow morning, am still tired after 3-day camping trip, and am a notoriously bad stayer-upper. I think I'll Sky+ it, get up a bit early, make them all sprint the first 13.1, and then watch the rest before I go out at 8am.

I'm watching it. I may well go to bed and get up again though.

Max, I'm always in bed by 11pm at latest. :-)
