I think your premise is flawed Dio! Thread title should be, "Who or what, despite Dio's disdain, do other idiots still find popular?" Seriously though - some of those are just taste. But even fox hunting and whaling, which I deplore, there isn't universal disdain for - in some cultures whaling is still seen as acceptable. I won't dignify fox hunting with "culture" but some circles still think it's OK to perform random cruelty on wild animals for fun. Hmmm. |
