Flip get yourself a MTB and then get your arse up here. Loads of adventures to be had. I do love my gravel bike too.

Maz I’m due a visit back down the road. We should have a face to face meet up.

I have yet to make it up with my MTB... Maybe I can coincide with Flip, for a mini fetch meet.

Be great to see you again Hann. It's a pity you don't run or ride much now. You were superb on both. I remember your cyclo cross adventures when I'd never heard of it before I'm just about to restart the league here because I miss a ritual humiliation!

HP, That's definitely a plan. I have a feeling ill do triathlon Cross on an mtb but I'll need much more experience. Plus I drool over your lovely trails. Maybe revisit this in the spring .

I'm dodging the celtman next year as well. I need to be fit enough when the entries come out in the November. It's mainly shorter tri's and couple of lakes swimming events next year.

A friend just did the Aviemore triathlon flip. I think you’d like it. A fetchie Highland meet sounds great. I’d need to evict my teenage lodger in order to accommodate anyone mind.

Off road is best!
I find not having any races planned has stopped me from going out altogether. When Covid hit, I walked, long hours in the hills, and cycled, on and off road but then suddenly they closed the Brecon Beacons National Park and I wasn't sure which government I fell under, being on the border. Wales: a radius of 5 miles from your home, England: no further than 10 miles. Is that from home, i.e. 20, or in total?
I could not face what some people do: walk up and down the lane 20 times... Or cycle around in 10 mile loops, 6 times... I tried but gave up very quickly. Not being able to hit the hills was painful, so I hit the chocolate in stead...

I'd be up for a highland meet too! Need to stay at my cousin's new lodge. She:s just got married and they've got a farm between them.
