Go with the 220 and look for a deal. No point in paying extra for features you're not going to use.

Yeah - that includes me!! 225 is very good, did away with my Fitbit, Vivfit and Garmin 620 for it. The HRM is unreliable for me but 100% for other people, but I was so totally fed up with the straps failing (I'd had 7 over 3 Garmin watches - they just don't last). I'd look for a 620 personally if you can find one, as it's a great watch, although potentially you could get a great deal on a 610, which is also excellent. |

Hmmm I wonder if garmin will do xmas discount thing again, have a 220 at the mo which is fine but like the 230 ,16 hr battery, bigger screen, customisable screens with 4 info panes, garmin iq support, daily tracker ☺
