rumour has it the places have been allocated & you can check if you have a place by trying to pay on this link - It will only allow you to pay if you have a place - this has been circulating on Twitter (the same site that has seen Mickey Rourke & Will Smith die this year !) virginlondonmarathonballot.com |

I don't think it's a scam. If you search that domain on Google there's a link to it from the main marathon website and another one on the organiser's site (realbuzz). And the link is dead now, someone twigged. Still, bugger.
