I find it hard to throw out old knackered kit on the basis 'it might be useful one day'.

Somewhere I have the first pair of shorts I bought when in my 30's I thought 'fat was enough' and joined a gym. Said shorts can stand up on their own. Which means they are 10yrs plus old.

I've got a few pairs of briefs I've had since I was 15. They still keep everything in place when running so no reason to get rid

I think my oldest shorts are from 2005.

The oldest timestamp on a piece of code on the website is September 2007, but I think that's when we migrated to our current hosting provider. I reckon some bits of code are at least 7 years old.

It's not running kit, but I still wear my jodhpurs that I got when I was 16. Which makes them... *counts on fingers* 16 years old!
I haven't been running long enough to have any really ancient running kit!

Ron Hill Tracksters here as well, over 20 years old. I hardly wear them now as they aint too stylish but they are bulletproof.

I had a purge on most of my fat-guy kit a couple of years ago, but I've still got a number of pairs of running socks which I got at the same time as my first proper running shoes.
