I'm feeling hyper.... 9 miles tonight with runchum roy, torry quine on her bike and youngest loon...

Fab run, i loved it, well i loved the second half, first half as a bit meh, but i always feel like that!

The boys ere carrying on, and being a bit hyperand annie was cycling on ahead a bit so i dropped back a bit to get some headspace....i dont have the energy to run and caper at the same time!

then i pretty much found my legs and overtook them, then stayed ahead or with them the rest of the way...

9 miles in 1:38, compared to 8 in 1:31:50 last week.... so very pleased...

i actually could have carried on abit more. The boys are training for half in a week or two, but couldnt convince them more than 9 was doable, i sear i couldve done another 2 easily!!

Nearly 30 miles over terrain that could be classified as 'challenging' :-)

Well done Fen!

After spending several days look after other peoples running, I finally managed to get to do some of my own at lunch today :)

5.5 miles in blistering mid-day sun. Well happy with the lack of effort I needed to put in to keep a sub 8mm pace, only the last half mile up hill felt like a bit of effort, and I was de-hydrating a bit by then.

was hoping for a nice 9miles or over in the bid to get my longest run ever again this week (remember 9 last week, 8 the week before, groundbreaking stuff! lol!!) Well we managed 7.35 and really it was a fair achievement as runchum susi (who is unbeknowns to me, a fetchie! lol!) had a wee bit sore belly, and it was blinking hot n sunny and blinking windy! (and i'm not talking about Susi's tummy!)

This weather is lovely on the one hand but makes running even harder than usual!

Still 3 runs this week, and it's looking good....

8 miles tonight - club run to the War Memorial, Castle and woods. Really nice run at a decent pace just before the rain :)
