Talking of the A96, I remember when there were temporary traffic lights in Nairn, caused serious X-rated tailbacks. Took an eternity to get home from work.

Returned at 1.00 pm to find that it had not been started and that it would be done at 4.00 pm. Eventually left the garage at 5.30 pm. I still need to sort out two tyres and go back in 3k miles for something else. As a result, I was unable to work today and my wife was late for a meeting this evening. If they said come back at 5.00 pm, I could at least have gone home and done some work today.

No, but I'd like them to give way for customers, and perhaps not be unbelievably rude towards customers in scooters who are unable to get past them due to them blocking aisles.
