[That's interesting bebop. I had a lorry kick up a large object onto my windscreen last Wednesday. I requested a replacement windscreen the same morning from Autoglass via their online service after being redirected from my insurer. The earliest that Autoglass could come round to fix it (though their site proudly informed me that Yes! they had the correct windscreen for my car) was Sunday afternoon. Sadly, I had a voicemail message on my mobile yesterday morning to inform me that they had broken the screen and would now not be able to come a fix it until Thursday! Praise be that it is not an emergency to get it done!]

What problem are they supposed to be solving?

The woman who was literally dragging her dog along a street while it was trying to poo, leaving poo pieces strewn along the pavement, then failing to pick them up when I pointed it out.
And myself for not persisting and calling after her again when I realised she wasn't going to bother.

[My sympathies, Seratonin - it’s jarring when something like that happens, isn’t it? Also, I assumed that autoglass wouldn’t have such a queue! At least the damage on mine is passenger side, so if I have to drive I should be okay. Also, the company concerned has emailed to say they’re going to refund my excess, which has cheered me up].

Emptying bins.
Not the job itself, it's a job that has to be done.
But when I started my new job, every singe bin in the building was full to beyond overflowing. Both domestic, bathroom and clinical bins!
Now I am covering some annual leave in another office and guess what, all the domestic and recycling bins are full to the top and I have had to empty them all. No idea where the rubbish needs to go, so left it in the kitchen. (At least the clinical bins aren't full I guess...)
Why can't people empty the bins? It only takes a minute.

Getting a fixed penalty notice out of the blue.
Apparently, on Easter Sunday afternoon I stopped in a box junction, there’s a picture and everything.
But I was clear of the junction (but not the extended box), there wasn’t any traffic to block, and I would have cleared it had the cars in front of me not stopped unexpectedly, and I’d kept a car’s length between me and the one in front.
Also, I didn’t see any warning signs about the cameras. Aren’t they supposed to have warnings like speed cameras?
Wondering whether it’s worth appealing? Technically you should not enter unless your exit is clear but, especially under such light traffic conditions, you tend to make assumptions based on the flow of traffic.
