Anyone know of any good walking/travel podcasts, such as ones where people are actually talking about a journey or walk as they make it?

Not really an answer, but the audiobook version of the Bryson Appalachian trail thing is excellent.

I did love that Bryson book (though, spoiler, he never really finished it - the trail, I mean).

I'd also be interested in such a podcast Dio

We had the misfortune to watch the film of that book a few weeks back. PErhaps I missed something, but an ageing Robert Redford didn’t quite embody the Bill Bryson that I enjoy reading!

On running podcasts being boring - definitely a potential for that. However some guests are great. Steve Scullion (Irish marathoner) was excellent on last week’s Marathon Talk for example.

I enjoyed Wind of Change about whether the CIA wrote the Scorpions song of the same, though they drag it out a bit.

Carrier was good if a little scary at night sometimes if out running!
theverge.com

Sterling Affair about Donald Sterling's basketball ownership was interesting as all new to me.

Just started the ESPN one about abuse in gymnastics, which seems like it might be good but also quite depressing.

Much as Kermode and Mayo is still a staple that I barely really take in, I can't get on with Jack Howard on Kermode of Film. It's like Kermode and Mayo where Mayo has no idea Kermode is the person people are listening for.
