The episode about the Segway from Cautionary Tales practically stopped me in my tracks on a run nearly in a flood of tears.

I’ve been listening to a literary podcast called Slightly Foxed from the first episode onwards. It’s a monthly show from the publishers Slightly Foxed who reissue old books in small runs and also produces a quarterly magazine. The staff are all women and it’s the most white, middle-class thing you could imagine, but despite that it is entertaining, diverse and occasionally surprising. It’s also interesting listening as after about 10 episodes lockdown happened so you follow the team and the business through lockdown.

I must say thanks to this thread and especially Nellers mentioning Empire. It’s excellent..the best history podcast for me.
