I'd have had just enough time to get to work if there hadn't been hideous traffic and road works. It's minor because what are they going to do, sack me?

I shot myself with a water pistol while rushing to fire a shot to discourage a wood pigeon from pooping in the garden.

Woke this morning feeling so relaxed because Saturdays are like that aren't they?

It's Thursday.

Drove off to the post office as it closed at 2pm when I went a month or so ago, got there to find it’s closed for lunch 1-2 (but then open again until 5pm). I can’t keep up.

Finally plucked up the courage to go to the garden centre. Shelves are bare, as are my hanging baskets!

I'm glad I ordered my bedding plants from the milkman as I heard tales of hour-long queues when the garden centres re-opened, and guessed they might not have much left by the time the queuing died down. Could you find some 'Tumbling Tom' plants in the supermarket perhaps Winnie?

I’m going to try a different place in the morning. I haven’t been to a supermarket since lockdown started and the queues to get in our local one are huge.

Work laptop crashed towards the end of the day. Still got the work done on my own PC but now I cannot use Skype for Business for phone calls and meetings. Don't ask, it's a technical issue for which I have raised both problems with my IT department before calling it a day.

My petunias from Thompson & Morgan arrived sadly dead. I rang around a few places and none of them had any bedding plants. I even tried B&M :-0 I’ve just put some nasturtium seeds in the baskets.

My petunias from Marshalls have apparently ben in the post since 21st May - I haven't got them yet and they're not answering emails
