The binmen missed our recycle wheelie bin - we already have a significant pile of recycling that won't fit
[We've logged the fact on their website - they should come and empty it in next couple of days ]

We put our recycling bin out last night at the end of the road, along with the other 5 houses on our lane. Heard the bin lorry early this morning but when I went to collect the bin at 10.30 ours had gone. One bin left but it's not ours. Waited all day in case somebody had accidentally taken ours and returned it but in the end had to take the spare one.

GPS ran low and stopped recording. Missed around 15 squares. Might have gone back out for them - but it cut out at the top of a hill.

Having been awake since 2:30 am, at 5:00 am we gave up and got up. Nowhere to go and no one to see, but no point in just lying there tossing and turning.

A box of tongue depressors emptied itself into my bag. I need to take up gardening so that I can use them as plant labels now, because I can't put them in people's mouths.

I got up just after 7 but almost immediately fell asleep on the sofa and ended up not starting work until 10:30.

[Then I'd need to get a log burner, swittle. I think it might be less bother just to put the sticks on the compost heap.]

[Do the random countryside littering thing- pop them in a bag and leave on a wall with a note saying something like *please use me to make a house for the fairies*]

Had to abandon a run after just a few hundred yards because of a calf niggle.
