I started a thread recently about Binks's book and it's already been deleted... what makes a thread be deleted? There's some really old one still floating around, but I only started this one around a month or so ago...

Just wondering.

Wonder how long this one will last? ;)

The more replies a thread gets, the longer it survives after the last reply before being zapped. I think Fetch posted the exact numbers a while back, though who knows whether that thread has vanished?

Yep, it's based on how many total posts, how long since the last post, that sort of thing. And whether it mentions kitchens.

Hmm. now that is meta.

I foresee a blizzard of new threads created and posted to just to test the rate of extinction.

Hello. I am from Nigeria. Would you like a bigger kitchen? Would you like a bigger penis? Would you like a spare kitchen to keep your extra penises in.

My Brussel Sprouts thread on RW has been there for over 14 years:

runnersworld.co.uk

It even got resurrected by a connoisseur after a three year break.
