I bought some toothpaste today because I thought we needed some. Turns out I must have thought that for a few weeks in a row and have accidentally hoarded about ten tubes. Did that once with chickpeas too - when we moved house discovered gazillions of the buggers. F*k knows what I think about when shopping 🙄

Ginger and garlic. But by mistake; I mentioned I'd need some before I pickled another pan of veg. I got some in the global fruit & veg shop in town (no eggs, no flour, no yeast, almost out of jackfruit). When I got home, Mr Carp had bought some too because he thought I wanted him to.

Also he asked T2, who works in a shop, to get some more loo roll even though we weren't yet desperately low.

A new mountain bike.

My normal commuting bike is on it's last legs- wont change gear flat tyre. Bike shop refused to let me spend any more on it (They did say at last service it wasn't worth it). I need something to get to work and with everyone at home there's no parking within half a mile of my house... my car is staying where it is!! That's my justification any way!

As we're now locked down until Easter, I went to the British store and panic bought lots of Hot x buns and Easter eggs

clothes.

I really don't need any more, but it's good to support small business that are having to close by buying from them online, right?

Clothes for me too. I've lost about 2 stone since October. I'd bought some more work clothes but hadn't got round to buying new casual stuff. Working from home for a week made me realise that I needed some trousers that actually stay up! Ordered online and they've just arrived. (mainly leggings, because there will be lots of lounging around on the sofa in my near future ;) )
