The way my nephew joyfully cries ‘aunty halfpint’ and throws himself at me every time I visit (god I miss that boy) The fact that nephew calls me Aunty Polly (not my name) and has done for a couple of years.

DT’s reminded me of a trail run one autumn afternoon, starting in broad daylight and getting back to my car with the moon and stars out and the cold starting to bite. It was fab.
