Steve Wright is on point this morning 23 years + is a helluva shift - Wright's chummy antics tended to grate at times but he formed the backbone of Radio 2 output and gave listeners what they liked. I didn't know he'd started at the Beeb in 1980! And the 'Love Songs' show will continue with him.
