That's nice Mrs S, not many races would do that.

I've seen comments of people booking up for next year already although I've not seen any comment on the date. It could be 1 of 2 next year with the summer solstice on the Wednesday.

Watching all the posts from the weekend has got me interested in being involved next year in some form!

I think I'll sweep again unless someone wants me to crew. I am hoping to get fit and enter the race again to hopefully run in 2024.

After seeing the state of the runners, no way ever doing it again! Kim in our club was in A&E next day - torn knee ligaments (from Glencoe - yes, 25 miles with torn knee ligaments!) She's in a leg brace and crutches for 6 weeks. Sam who was on for 19 hours pulled out at Lundavra with borderline hypothermia. My runner Davie was doing the proper death march from Devil down to KLL and over the Lairig Mor.

Err, no...! You'll do great though. You've got the right mindset. Tough cookie!

I'll crew again I hope. Wonder if I can get like a wee, mini, plastic decanter for crewing 10 times (like the crystal one for running it 10 times)? That's 8 so far! :-) G

Thanks, it's ridiculous but I have to put time off at work now to have a chance of getting the holidays.

I have a mate who wants to do it again so may crew or might just gling my name in the hat like you 🙂G 😉!

Well that's the ballot closed with highest number of entrants I've seen. I did notice a large quantity were whw virgins. That and a few from around the globe.
Best of luck to all with an entry!

Just as a side note, I noticed it's the western states live draw tomorrow which I'll hopefully catch some of, just nosy to see if anyone I know gets that in.

Yes, very healthy number of entrants isn't it? Just reflection of popularity of ultras? WHW has good reputation too, I'd say. But 2.5 x over subscribed means a lot of disappointments. :-) V
