Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This race lives with you for a long time because of the achievement you gain in its completion.....for those of you who venture forth for the first time then enjoy every minute as you will cherish the memory for a long time. For those of you who have returned then I hope you achieve what you set out to achieve...and more. All the best to every one of you and good luck.

When the going gets hard then dig deep as you will find out more about yourself in this one race than you will in any other. :-)....enjoy!

Good luck everyone :)

Pity I've been drinking wine or I'd have taken a wee drive to the start...

...and they're off. Well, I'm guessing. ;-) I'm just back, bathed and pretty tired after an 11-mile run. Can't imagine going for any other run at all right now - let alone for 88 miles! You guys are great. Wishing you all the very best of luck.

See how my brain has suffered even after such a short run? 84 miles, of course. *Much* shorter than 88. ;-)

Keep the updates coming Jules :-) and well done to you and all the other support crew members and marshalls - fantastic job you're all doing in pretty awful weather.

Good luck to all runners, those I know and those I've yet to meet, and as Jo said well done also to all support crews and marshalls
