Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Me excited too, this'll be my 5th year involved with the race. Marshalled 2008, raced it 09 & 10, swept it last year and this year doing support crew. The phrase "Jack of all trades, master of none" springs to mind :)

I've got my mum and dad supporting me this year....they've never crewed and haven't seen me run anything longer than the London Marathon.....but they seem very excited :)

I haven't told them how hard supporting is *looks around to make sure they are not listening* ;)

It is tough supporting/marshalling but very very rewarding and generally extremely sociable :) A bit like running the things (or so I'm told).

I have marshalled - it was fun...
I could not run it. Ever. Physically.
I could not support on it. Emotionally.

SB I think my mum will probably just tell me to put some blusher on my face and brush my hair :)

Mum and dad were keen to go up so Drew will be up supporting Els which works really well as I can have matilda moments with all of them :)
