R4R Mar 2018 7:57am, 2 Mar 2018 2,848 posts	0 R4R Sunday was due to be first race of the year, but not any more ... GPW Recruitment St Helens 10k Sunday 4th March 2018 Postponed. New date 15th April 2018 Due to the freezing weather conditions the organisers of the planned GPW Recruitment St Helens 10k Run on Sunday 4th March 2018 has been postponed. The decision has been made following discussions with GPW Recruitment, the Steve Prescott Foundation, St Helens RFC, St Helens Council, TDL events and other relevant parties. The 2k Fun Run at Victoria Park on Saturday 3rd March is also postponed. The GPW Recruitment St Helens 10k Run has been rescheduled for Sunday 15th April 2018. The 2k Fun Run will now take place on Saturday 14th April at Victoria Park. All registrations will be valid for these dates. Thank you to all parties involved in the events for their understanding.

Totally correct decision since the roads around there are already impassable and more snow is forecast. Keswick parkrun is currently on, but getting there from anywhere other than north west Cumbria may be tricky.

Bedworth are checking today, but as it's very icy here and we're forecast snow this afternoon, I can't see it happening (I am supposed to be marshalling, so prepping layers of clothing in case it goes ahead ).
