The wholly inappropriately named (IMHO) "We Love Manchester" 10k is back again for 2013, and they're doing half price entry £8/£9 again if you enter before 15/03 sportstoursinternational.co.uk I was supposed to do it last year, but ended up spending the night before in A&E with Mrs.Nelly. So who else is tempted to take advantage of the cheap entry? |

Damn can't do it, got the Northumberland coastal run on the same day.. Must say I really enjoyed i last year. And considering you'll get "an excellent, padded Sports Tours International rucksack" for finishing, it must be a bargain...

DG - I don't know, but assuming it is the same route as last year then I don't see why not http://www.fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=261439&subtab=elevation

Mike - from a comparison between the description of the route on their website and this route http://www.fetcheveryone.com/route-261439 I think so, but given their website doesn't have a route map it's impossible to be certain.

*bump* half price entry ends today. ![]() Although I wasn't overly impressed when the system added £1 for p+p and £1 "service fee" to the advertised price, but it's still relatively cheap. |

Who else is running on Sunday? Has everyone received their numbers? I've just seen that the information booklet says the race car park gate will be closed for the full duration of the race. So can anyone recommend somewhere to park that will be easy to get away from at the end? For anyone in South Manchester, it is worth adding that due to Engineering Works there are no trams between Altrincham and Manchester on either Saturday or Sunday, so the tram is not an option. |

Hi Nelly, I'm running this and have received my number as well, think i'll just get the train in i don't live that far and to be honest the train goes right by Ashbury's station so will probably get out at that stop and walk/run the rest of the way Good luck on Sunday ![]() |
