The sealskin ones come up tight, which makes them colder.
I wish I had bought them a size up, but other than that they are good.

I love this.

I want waterproof gloves, like what sealskin make, who also make my waterproof socks, which is what I want the gloves to be like.

Have you tried Sealskin?

Ooooh sarky little lion.

Sealskin make several different styles. I wondered if anyone could be specific - or suggest another firm.

I've tried numerous pairs of Sealskinz. The ones I absolutely don't like are the multilayer merino ones with the little rubber grip pads on the palm. They are very tight and, frankly, don't keep your hands warm. Not mine anyhow. On the other hand (chuckle), the Sealskinz mittens are ace and are easy to wriggle on when your fingers have lost all dexterity.

Current trialling a pair of Rab eVent mountain gloves. Bloody ace!

oi you
I have these sealskinz.com They are really very warm, so not used them recently. Totally waterproof, ideal for winter if we get one.

Excellent - ta NE, Johnny and oi - that gives me some idea. The yellow ones look right for the long dog walks but the mittens sound like they'd be fine for sprint training. I have quite severe Raynaud's and cold is bad but cold and wet and it's blue fingertips ahoy.
