I've got an Altura Night Vision Evo jacket which I'm using all the time on my commute now that it's a bit cooler. It's starting to get a bit worn now so I'm going to get a new one for Christmas. The equivalent jacket to mine is about Β£80/Β£90, can anyone recommend something similar in quality that might cost marginally less?

I have an Altura one too. I'm told the DHB ones are good value as are the Mountain Warehouse own brand - though I have found that Mountain Warehouse stuff is sometimes a quality that has been manufactured down to a price.

By co-incidence, @londoncyclist have just reviewed the Endura equivalent. I have an old Altura which is great apart from it doesn't cover the bottom of my suit jacket. |

My experience of the Endura jackets (Β£110) is not good the zipped "armpit" vents came unstuck, the supplier undertook to repair, but wanted it cleaned first. I understand they lose waterproof when cleaned, so the result is I'm stuck with unstuck vents! A colleague at work also has an Endura jacket with unstuck vents on a Β£150 jacket. Good otherwise though...still works but not ideal
