And I also have no email on Sep 1st. I've downloaded the event guide for the real VLM about six times while trying to get the virtual one. At least I have the virtual one now. Everything seems horribly complicated. |

I agree ChrisHB for a virtual fun run at a price £££ it is does seem over complicated. I am doing the Clarendon marathon Sunday that should meet VLM criteria even so got to carry extra batteries for phone for the tracker which is a pain in the

I don't plan to carry an extra battery charger. For one thing, I don't know where mine is! I think it would be ludicrous if the app drained the battery to that extent. The event guide does say somewhere how to upload your result via Garmin or |

Nor can I, though I have double checked my booking ref is correct and obviously I know my email and d.o.b!!

On Twitter they say people will receive their ref no in an email by 9am tomorrow. Whether this is a different number to the one on the confirmation email, who knows, because also on Twitter some people *have* been able to log in but the app shuts itself down when they try to do anything with it. Bit shambolic? |

and I have logged in. I am a bit scared of it because there is an enormous button "start your marathon now" and I don't think I want to go near it. I'm not sure I'll try the "practice 5k" either as it's on the same screen. |
