Ah. I've just read the 'Event Guide' and yes, when we finally are allowed to download the app (I've just checked Google Playstore, no sign of it yet) that will 'know' when we've completed 26.2 miles it will automatically upload the result. The result will then trigger the issue of our medal and T shirt. Reading this guide though has made me panic a bit - it talks about needing my booking reference which was allegedly emailed to me on Sept 1st but I can't find any such email. My race pack is down at the seaside house so I can't check til the end of the week but does the bib or the pack have that info? |

Just had a look at the VLM Twitter feed. We are supposed to 'stay close to their social media' and they'll tell us when the app is available. This is not filling me with much confidence!

I believe the record from your Garmin or whatever is acceptable, but I don't know how you'll send it to them without some other technology!
