Hi
Ran it this year for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was amazing so I will be having another go next year.

Relying on a GFA entry. I was 49 this year when I ran VLM for first time. With a 03:16:27 that should hopefully give me a GFA for 2015 as a 50 year old as long as they don't tinker with the qualifying times. Does it matter that I was 49 when achieving that time as GFA for 41-49 is slightly quicker?

The Paris marathon is during the school holidays so I'll opt for trying that. No ballot rejection from London for me this year - my previous rejections have soured me to the VLM. The ballot registration - the anticipation - the long wait over the summer - the ultimate disappointment - the internalised personal argument about a charity place. Nah! Fk that!

I've never done the ballot, so no idea how that works, I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't some mathematical formula for getting the optimum number of entries on each time category.

The_Inspector I think that's correct re:gfa, you can be 49 when you run the qualy time as long as you are 50 on race day. When do the revised GFA times come out?
