That's me and Firesac - we were running in sight of each other for most of the race - first time I've run in a Fetch vest & it won't be the last! There's a bit more footage of us in part 2 of the highlights, appox. 2Hrs 27 - 2Hrs 29. Tx to Chris Newton we got into the shot.

Has anyone else looked at the distance run on their Garmins?

Seems I turned VLM into an Ultra, as I did over 27 miles! In fact about 3/4 of a mile more than Brighton.

It presume it was having to snake around the walkers in the middle of the road thats caused this

If I had done the Brighton distance, I work out I would have beaten the time I did last week by a few minutes.

26.66 for me although I was mostly one of the walkers for very large sections so that blows theory number one out of the window.

26.6. Not following racing line, tunnels, high buildings and general inaccuracy of a device thats being measured from a satellite 12000 miles above the earth. Don't think the winner was complaining about the course being long.
