Glad you figured that out, Jovi Runner, how odd! But at least you know how to sort it out now.
Great news FergusG and good luck jamborigg - it should come through this week.

I'm thinking about how to get my name put on my singlet.

DMZ - I got my name added to my vest at the expo last year - dead easy. You'll get plenty of offers from the organisers to get your name-printing done by return post but if you put it off until the last minute, as I did, they'll do it at the expo while you wait.

Anyone know if your bib number gives a clue as to which starting pen you’re allocated to (i.e. GFA versus Fast-GFA)?

I’ll be wearing number 32740 next year.

The numbers are definitely slightly different next year as I know of a fast GFA number smaller than 31351 for 2018.

you might find they are in GFA (Green) and not FGFA...the FGFA numbers have been very predicatble since I got a place in 2009. However, later in your 40s you seem to get moved to Green GFA even if you have a faster time than some young whippersnappers !

This person should definitely be in the fast GFA pen as they have a sub 2:45. Their number would fit with the GFA ones starting from 50 lower than last year as I'd only expect a handful of people in that start to have quicker times than them but not be championship.

I've been 4 times in FGFA (33---, then 3 times 31---) and then last year in Green GFA (30---). This year I've got allocated a 25---, which feels like there must have been a change in numbering system.... But checking last years results for 25--- numbers, they're Green Start. There's a lot of people in Green :-(

Spideog - if your mates number is only a tiny bit less than the range from last year as per DMZ, then it's pretty likely to be still FGFA. I've got to ask why he's not going from the champs start though with his qualifying time?

They are not a member of a UKA club so GFA is the easiest way into London.
