Exciting times indeed, now we just have to keep that going for the next 10 months  Although I promised myself I'd run Boston M before I got too old to zip round in a decent time, financial constraints means a transatlantic trip is out of the question for 2018 so here we go again...

Great! It will be my first London Marathon, and only my second full marathon. Oranj, I currently feel like I'll have no difficulty maintaining my enthusiasm for 10 months... unless I get injured or start overtraining, or life gets in the way :o) I have another friend from work who also has a GFA place. Good to have some competition! |

Just got my e-mail acceptance through a moment ago, so that's me £39 lighter. Better take a note to sort out travel, accommodation and dog kennel now!

Finally found out why my entry not going through. They have got me on their system as a man! Apparently I have to complete my app as a man & then ring them up to ask.them to amend. As I don't have the qualifying time (almost but not quite) I'm not sure how it's got through their system without someone querying before confirming they'd accepted my paperwork!
