Roberto Oct 2015 9:20am, 7 Oct 2015 513 posts	0 Roberto Damn. My club had just got to the over 60 mark so we were expecting 2 places. Thats my chances dwindling further. Missed out on ballot, completely blew up at Chester while attempting 2.45 and had to drop out, and last hope was that the club would have a couple of places, but 1 place is unlikely to go to me.

Our club should get three places. I am wondering if we should draw the entries now, before they are officially confirmed, so the lucky winners can plan ahead and don't miss out on three months of training. If we wait the earliest we can do the draw is December. Of course I'm aware that might be asking for trouble - and there's a risk that for some reason we don't get 3 places and people might be left disappointed. A question for those who've dealt with club applications - have you ever had your club rejected or given fewer places than you were expecting?

There's no waiting until December In the 20 odd years I've been handling them for my club they've never failed to hit their own deadlines I applied for ours yesterday Where people get caught out is when they don't meet VLM's deadlines or rules. Eg it's based on EA paid up affiliated members, not total club members and applications for places and confirmed names must be made within time. Out of time and there is no recourse!! Hope that helps
