I got in through the ballot as I said earlier, I am going to put my entry to use and try and raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, I have raised money for them many times because the illness means a lot to me. My Gran was in a dementia unit for the last few years of her life and eventually she didn't recognise any of her family, couldn't talk or care for herself. Found out today that I didn't get in through the London Boroughs ballot either. Not too disappointed as I'll be running Brighton anyway. If you did get a place, here's to wishing you a great day in April. |
